Now that you've read the story..... Let me explain what we are trying to do and how you can help. There is a huge amount of information on distance education out there, but it is scattered in tiny pockets of information and code on the internet. Our goal is to gather these bits of information and combine into one pot to be made available to everyone.

Use our database

Yes, please take advantage of the data that we have collected on distance learning schools and information. The databases are being released for free under the terms of the GNU Public License and can be used for free for any purpose (including commerical ones). The only condition on using the information in the database is that you must make available any changes to the database that you make.

Our database is currently being used by elearners.com. If you decide to use our database, please contact us so that we can help you with what you are doing.

Use our catalog code

Our code is being released under the terms of the GNA Scheme License. It consists of perl 5 which is displayed through Mason.

• gna-cgibin.tgz contains the CGI and mason scripts used to run the GNA site.
• gna-libs.tgz contain the library files used to run the site.
