This page is devoted to extensions and improvments to Celestia, http://celestia.sourceforge.net.

Attached are some patches that improve the program, they are patches off of CVS

This patch

  • Fixes the foreground orbits problem
  • Allows display of ring textures on older cards
  • Allows display of virtual textures on older cards
  • Displays start and end dates for spacecraft
  • Adds a (Shift-G) command to move the time to the start date for spacecraft

The latest patch fixes the double vision problem with foreground orbits.

20050625 - Add new orbit interpolator

20050626 - Fixed foreground orbits

20050628 - Fixed nasty memory leak

20050629 - Make template gcc 4.0 compliant
