This workshop was a series of open online presentations by members and friends of the Virtual Community Mailing List. Our aim was to create a framework of collaboration that will allow people from different intellectual, social, ethnic or cultural backgrounds to contribute their views on various aspects of online life. The purpose was to share information between participants and benefit from each other's viewpoint.

With one exception all meetings took place on the GNA Forum, a virtual room accessible from a number of MOOs around the world. You can access a MOO environment using telnet or more specialized clients.
The Text-Based MUDs page at onlineroleplay.com provides a list of clients that make access to a MOO easier than bare telnet.

These meetings were free and were recorded for those with time and/or technical problems. The workshop was part of the MetaCommunity Project and coordinated by S. (Sam) Kritikos.
